These terms are the agreement between you and Habaita, written to keep things clear and fair on both sides. By using Habaita you agree to them, so please read section 03, the disclaimer, with particular care.
01Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Habaita, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
02What Habaita Is
Habaita is a personal companion for making aliyah and settling into life in Israel. It builds you a personalised step-by-step roadmap, answers your questions through an AI guide, and points you to the relevant offices, benefits and resources. Habaita is an information and organisation tool — it does not process your aliyah, submit applications, or act on your behalf.
03Not Legal, Immigration, Tax or Financial Advice
Everything Habaita provides is general information for planning purposes only. It is not legal, immigration, tax, medical or financial advice, and using it creates no professional relationship. Rules, amounts, forms and deadlines change and vary by personal situation, so always confirm your own case with the official authorities (such as the Jewish Agency, Nefesh B’Nefesh, Misrad HaPnim / the Population and Immigration Authority, Misrad HaKlita and Bituach Leumi) and with a qualified professional where appropriate. You are responsible for the decisions you make, and Habaita is not liable for actions taken based on the information it provides.
04Your Account
You sign in with your email address or through a third-party account (Sign in with Apple or Google). You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for the activity that happens under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use Habaita.
05Subscriptions & Payments
Some features require a paid Habaita Pass. The price, the billing period (one-time or recurring), and exactly what is included are shown to you before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe or, for in-app purchases, by the Apple App Store or Google Play — Habaita does not store your card details. Any auto-renewing subscription renews at the then-current price until you cancel; you can cancel anytime (in the app or through your app-store account) and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the applicable app-store policy or, for direct purchases, our reasonable discretion together with any non-waivable consumer rights. We will give notice before any price change.
06Acceptable Use
Use Habaita only for your own personal aliyah and relocation planning. Do not misuse the service, attempt to breach or circumvent its security, scrape or resell its content, or use it for anything unlawful. The content and guidance are for your personal use and may not be redistributed as a commercial product.
07Intellectual Property
Habaita, its name, design, content and software are owned by us and protected by law. Using the service does not transfer any ownership to you; your own data remains yours, and you grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you.
08Limitation of Liability
Habaita is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Habaita and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the information or from delays, errors or unavailability of the service.
09Cancelling & Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account and its data at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings). Deleting your account ends your access; if you hold an active subscription, cancel it through your app-store account or payment provider as well. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Habaita after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under your local law.
