Habaita is committed to making our service usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the accessibility of the app, and we welcome your feedback.
01Our Commitment
We believe everyone planning a move to Israel and a life here deserves the same help. We aim to make Habaita perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for all users, and we treat accessibility as part of building the product, not an afterthought.
02Standard We Aim For
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, which is the basis of Israeli Standard 5568 under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time certification, and we improve toward it release by release.
03What We Have Done
Habaita is built with meaningful heading structure and labelled controls, works with keyboard navigation, adapts to phone, tablet and desktop screens, and supports right-to-left reading for Hebrew. We aim for readable text sizes and sufficient colour contrast, and you can also use your browser or device to enlarge text, zoom the page, or turn on a screen reader.
04Known Limitations
Some parts of Habaita are still being improved. Content generated by the AI guide, dynamic maps or charts, and material provided by third parties may not always meet our target level. Where you meet a barrier, please tell us — real reports from people using the app are the fastest way for us to fix the right things.
05How to Get Help or Report a Problem
If you cannot access something, or a feature is hard to use with assistive technology, email us at info@habaita.app. Please describe the page or feature and the difficulty you had, and tell us the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We will do our best to respond and to offer the information or service you were trying to reach in an accessible way.
06Ongoing Work
Accessibility is never finished. We review new features as we build them, act on the feedback we receive, and update this statement as the app changes. The date above shows when we last reviewed it.
